Had a pretty good run.  My main goal was to run it under 2hrs.  I got that one.  Was hoping for something in the 1:40s.  But with my training and getting back into it.  Just running the distance was going to be a challenge.  2 things I really learned from this.  Is I got to do more hills in my training.  The little bumps in the road were really tough for me and I need to work on my long runs even more.  Meet up with Kathie at the start and ran with her a bit.  She passed me in the final few miles.

It was nice to run with you for a while at the race. I have to tell you that I thought you had really hurt yourself. At mile 6 or 7 I saw a guy dressed just like you limping into an ambulance. I totally thought it was you. So when I passed you at mile 10 I was really happy you were still in the race!

Yeah I saw that guy limping to the ambulance too. I didn't push it too hard I have to admit. Once my form started breaking down I just walked. I really didn't want to hurt my back or anything. Was good to see you again though.

Nice job getting it done!! Looks like you have a plan and know what you want to do! :)

How is your back feeling today?

Great to see you back in racing form. Still feeling OK I hope?
