Wanted to try out the tri outfit I got from the desert sharks club that we joined up with to see how it fit and if I would use it in the race. Plus do a brick like session to get use to riding then running afterwards. So warmed up with a mile run then hopped on the bike for 8 miles which took 30 mins and then back to the run for a mile. The first little bit of the run was like jello but after about .3 miles it was back to normal and I kicked up the pace from 6.8 to 7.1 and it felt good. As for the outfit. Was a little tight around the arms I thought so put on some body glide and it was just fine for the workout. Lets just hope for some good weather down there in SG this weekend. |
