AM- 35 min morning swim.  Felt pretty good this morning.  Rested up alot over the weekend.  Did 250 yds of drills with fins then swam.  Worked on a few different things on the swim.  Started with trying to stay relaxed.  Moved on to trying to speed up.  And kept noticing my legs weren't staying as balanced and so then worked on keeping my chest and head down.  Which was great for my legs but made it harder to get air a few times.  Finding my balance while swimming.:)  Feeling really good about my progress.  75 min run tonight.  Next race on the schedule is Ogden Marathon.  Which is going to be a long run.

PM- Ran right after work.  Decided to try and run it 8:00-30.  Hit it pretty good.  Some a bit slower and a couple faster.  Legs felt a bit tired still from the race.

So Mark, what's your schedule looking like this weekend. Wanna go run some of the UVM course. I was thinking about doing about 15 miles of the course on Sat or Sun. Get back to me!

Looks like you've become a swimmer. That's great. I'm awful in the pool. Ogden is coming right up isn't it? Good luck on that one.

Slick- This weekend I am going to SG for the IMSG. Volunteering at my first race.:) At its a ironman. Should be very cool experience.

Chad- Oh I am still awful in the pool. I am just able to breath finally and working on endurance swimming still. Yep Ogden is the next race I am doing.

MrsFit- Thanks.:)

WOW! You're turning into Capn' Nemo with all that great swimming drills and workouts! May be you can keep up with Kristi now! :)

You're not racing Ogden, are you? I'm treating it as a long run too...hope I can finish upright! :)

So SharkBoy, do you feel like all this swimming has made you a better runner?

Smooth, you are going to end up PRing Ogden since you are going in with no expectations and just treating it as a long run.
