AM-  Planks, bridges, flamingos, dips and push-ups.  3 sets of each.

PM-  Went and braved the wind riding with MrsFit.   Got in a 13.5 in 55 mins.   Was just what I was wanting time wise.  But could sure do without the wind.  Did discover something new.  Its alot more stable to grap onto the bottom bars when in the wind.  First mile or so it was kind of scary.  Felt like at any point my bike was going to get blown out from under me going 20 mph.  But we beat the storm.:)

Mark, sounds like a great workout. I need to do more core work. One of my biggest problems is back pain around mile 18. I was thinking about doing alot of swimming, hoping that would help.

I would think it would help. I would do some work also just on your back though. I do those leg lifts or so I call them to strengthen them. Where your on your hands and knees and just lift a leg up stright out behind you. Only do like 5 on each leg at first. But I do those and it helps my back out.

I am still having a hard time picturing you doing this flamingo.

Great workout, though! Planks are hard. They look easy, but NO!!!!

Racing from a storm with your true love sounds so romantic.
