AM-  Was planning on getting up early today for a run with the wife.  But got home after a little dinner Bday party made it hard.  I ate maybe 2 pounds of meat at one of those Brazilian grill places in Provo.  So was a bit tired this morning.  Run will have to be later this evening.  But got in a good workout this morning.  The planks and such was a bit harder today but still a good workout.  Got 3 sets in of each again.  I need to find figure something out for a whole other day will be the plan.

Planks 1:30 1:30 2:00

Leg lifts 10 x3

Planks 12 x3

Walking lunges 20 x3 (getting very easy to do)

Toe raises 30 x3

Toe walks 30 x 3

Wall sits 1min x3

Push-ups 50 50/ Inclined push-ups 20 20 20

PM-  Got to go out for a run after the girls.  It was meant to be a tempo run.  Should of looked at it a bit closer.  1 mile easy then 5 at 7:26 and then 1 easy.  I did 2 easy then 4 tempo then 1 easy.  I feel it went well even if I didnt get the 5th mile at tempo.:(  Temp was around 76 with a nice slight wind on the 5.5 loop.

Mmmmmm two pounds of meat. Sounds like my meal after the SGM when we went to Mongolian BBQ.

From Rhett on Thu, Jun 04, 2009 at 12:34:34 from 170.215.58.122

Nicely said MrsFit. I was about to give Mark a hard time about not running enough. If he is going to BQ we need to get his milage up significantly.

Two pounds of meat? Wow!

From Teena on Thu, Jun 04, 2009 at 15:04:30 from 67.177.20.13

2 stinkin' pounds of meat!!!! That's enough for at least 8 people there Mark-O. Yes ... you must run tonight!!!! :)

From Huans32 on Thu, Jun 04, 2009 at 16:55:12 from 138.64.2.76

Mrsfit- Ok ok I will run tonight for sure.:)

Dale- Yeah it was good. Bit much but still good. I was up 3 pounds on the scale.:(

Rhett- Yeah I need the rough time. Having alot of distractions this week. And will end up doing 2 runs on Sat. First the race then waiting a few hrs to do a bunch more. Wish I would of done more to prepare for Ragnar.

Kathie- They just keep bring more and more and more. Mostly I ate just the beef too. Yummy

Teena- LOL ok I will try to get this heavier body out for a run.

So glad you have Kristi to keep you FIT. You need to change your title to MrFIT instead of hang loose. AWESOME workout...I'm sore just looking at it.

Oh yeah, here's another woman telling you to stay off the beef!

From Huans32 on Thu, Jun 04, 2009 at 17:06:44 from 138.64.2.76

LOL I normally lucky to get beef once a week. I am good for at least a month or so.

From RivertonPaul on Thu, Jun 04, 2009 at 17:23:34 from 67.42.27.114

"Where's the beef?" -- inside (we won't ponder that too long) Mark.

Maybe you could enter one of those Hot Dog eating contests, LOL!

From Kathie on Fri, Jun 05, 2009 at 13:40:02 from 207.155.176.10

Nice to see that you got a run in after all!

From montelepsy on Fri, Jun 05, 2009 at 16:53:56 from 206.248.193.234

We need to have an eating contest.

From Rhett on Sat, Jun 06, 2009 at 12:45:35 from 74.32.214.36

Good run Mark. I'm glad to hear you got your miles in and at a decent pace too. Are you going to start using a training plan? The FIRST to Finish plan is a 16 weeker but starts out hard right from the start, so you have to have some good base miles in. I guess you have another 7 days to work up to milage.

From Huans32 on Sat, Jun 06, 2009 at 15:08:42 from 24.2.68.35

Oh I have use the first plan several times. Mostly last year I didn't do it as much with the multi-marathons. But I am sure I will be fine to doing the 16 week plan. With some changes to it.
