Went out for a recovery run. Was running just a bit when I started and then stopped for the rest of the run. Wasnt to bad of a run just kept it at a good even pace around recovery pace. Felt best close to the end. Ankle just was like a 5/10 for the run.

3:30 wake up call came right on schedule. Ankle felt alot better then it has all week. So got up and did a run around the block. Just a nice recovery run. Temp was 34 so it wasnt bad at all. The first lap I kept it nice and slow. Next I had to try to keep it slow. The ankle felt like a 3/10 the first half. 2nd half I didnt really even feel it at all. Feeling good about running again. Few more nice and easy runs and it should be back to normal.

| Went down to the Jordan Parkway and ran with some friends. Was just a nice slow run so great recovery for my ankle. It is feeling about 85% back to normal. So maybe one more slower run and should be wonderful. I really noticed with this ankle injury just how fragile our bodies are and the need to listen closely to it. So was a great run. Not much miles for the week but getting back on course. One of the people that was with me on the run. It was her first time running 14 miles and was quite exciting to share that with them. |

House sitting at my parents while they are away. And tried out their treadmill. Ran the first 1.5 at a 8:30 pace 1% incline. Then 1.5-5 at a 8:00 pace. Last mile was 7:19 to finish it off. The first bit was a bit rough getting use to the feel of the treadmill. But it felt alot better at a faster pace on it. Ankle felt great today. I would say back to 100% now. |

| Decided to do interval speedwork tonight on the treadmill. Set it at 1% and started warm up at 7.0 speed(8:36 pace) for the first 2 miles. 4x 800m at 9.5(6:16 pace) with the 7.0 as recovery. And cooldown at the 7.0 pace for another mile. In the last .5 my ankle started to act up. So might of been to early on hard speedwork. Will see how the ankle feels tomorrow. |

| Rest day. Helped brother with his basement. So hopefully it will be ready to move into this next weekend. Was only like 5-10 min drive from work. Much nicer then the 30 min drive from where I live now. |

| Got up at 4 to run and ankle wasnt really into it when I started to up the pace. So hopped off and started doing some calf, quad, chest, abs, obliques and arms. Kind felt good. Going to try my ankle out later tonight again if I can. And see if I can get a few miles in. No pull ups yet. |

| Slept in some so just ran on the treadmill. Ankle acted up a few times. But wasnt to bad. Wanted to get in at least 10 and made it to 13. First 2 miles were at a 8:36 pace then up it to 8:00 for the rest of the run. Ankle was quite sore at the end of the night. So iced it and going to be better about icing it. Did get enough time after my run to ice it. Went out and tried to get some of the snow removed before my parents came home. |

| Rest day again. I was planning on starting a long training schedule for Ogden. 24 weeks. Well that isnt going to happen. And looking over my training for the last few months. It seems I havent been able to hit my weekly mileage as well as I have hoped to. I am feeling that going for the 50-70 might be to much for me just yet. And so the 35-50 is more reasonable for now. And shooting for 5 training days. The ankle keeps flaring up here and there all the time. So I am just going to work on getting that healed up and keeping it nice and slow. While I still have time for my training to really start. So just icing it and resting it today. I also have alot going on with moving again this week and hopefully be done before Christmas. |

Finally able to get on a computer with internet. Went out for a run with some friends at JRP. Was about 2-5 inch of snow on the trail. So we changed it from a 15 miler to a 2:30 run due to the slower paces in the snow. Which was fine by me since it was just what I wanted for more ankle. It wasnt to bad at all only my hand were cold every once in a while. I was really suprised that my feet didnt get cold since we were trudging through the snow. Ankle didnt give me any issue and I wasnt sore later either which I was quite happy with. Nice easy pace and good run with friends. Was hoping to see some gumpchumpers but no such luck. Only saw about 10 runners the whole time.

| Finally hit the gym first time in like 6 months it seems. At least for the spin it has been about that. And about 4-5 months since I rode last. Was a great class alot of sprints and hills. Took it easy for say since I hadn't done it for a while. After that had to go try the old pull ups. Managed did 3 sets of 7. Did a full body workout for the most part. All were 3 sets of 10s worked core, back, bi, tri, legs, calves, chest, shoulders, and lats. Just kind of lightly everything. 4 circuits. So we will see if I will be able to move tomorrow.:) Ankle only was felt a bit on the hill climbs on the bike. |

| Rest day today. I was able to get moved well. Worked out that I am crashing at my parents house till my brother gets another room done in his basement for his girls. It is all working out nicely. Ankle is feeling better since I have taken a break of running on it. And plan on hitting a few days this week and hopefully back to normal soon. Alot of changes going on and it is working out well. |
