AM- Rode to work today.  Just took it a bit easier on the ride out and started out a few mins ealier then normal so I wouldn't feel rushed.  Was nice and cool on the way to work.  I wont be so luck on the way back it sounds like.  Figure I will keep with my tri routine for say.  Keeping it nice and simple.  But working hard on my runs on run day.  So this ride was nice.

PM- Rode home from work.  Road was still kind of torn up on the last mile.  But since its was downhill.  I was able to just ride in the lane where the road was still better.  Since my pace is around 25-30 in there.  Got home in 22 mins to a quick change and off to the gym with the wife for some strength training.

Good on you Mark. I've been thinking about riding my bike to work at least 1 day a week for cross training. What time do you get up in the mornings to ride your bike for training?

From Huans32 on Mon, Jun 28, 2010 at 11:28:20 from 138.64.8.52

Well I normally get head to work at 6 and there early. So if I still leave at 6 or a bit before I am there still by 6:30 start time. So I get up 5:20 normally and I am good to go on time.

Sounds good. I rode my bike last week for the first time in a long time. I think I'll start putting in more cycling miles, but I may wait a few more weeks, because my leg hurt more than usual after the ride.

I think it's great that you have the opportunity to ride to work. I would llove to do that, but I'm limited on time and I really don't want to be riding my bike home from work at 2:00 am. Then I'd never get to sleep. Keep it up, Mark-O
