PM- Went out for a run after work.  Not sure what happend on this run.  But it was a less enjoyable one.  It didnt go as planned.  Plan was to do 2 easy miles then 2 tempo miles at 6:45 then 2 easy again.  Problem is that I ran it on a bad road the tempos.  Had to run on the gravel on the side of the road a few times and a headwind.  Not sure how much the heat played into it either.  But the 2nd tempo mile was horrible and the feeling of puking was there.  Yet it didnt really feel like puke pace really.  And the last 2 miles which were easy I was glad I was done and over with it finally.  I havent had a bad run like that in a long time.  But I hope that the next one like it is far away.

Something every weekend...busy man!

Nice workout today and enjoy tonight's run! Go when the sun goes down, it is toasty out there with no breeze!

Hey I will see you at Nestle! I hope you have a good run tonight!

Looks like a workout machine to me. Tempo runs are tough enough on even flat road. I'd chalk this one up and the next run will be better.

I'm debating whether to do the Nestle 5K. You did so well last year. Are you shooting for sub 20?

From Rhett on Thu, May 28, 2009 at 16:21:21 from 170.215.58.122

Nice work. Often those tough days just help make you stronger.

Kelli- Should of taken your advise and ran later. It was hot and windy.

Kathie- Yep looking forward to Nestle. It is a fun one.

Smooth- Yeah I just didnt expect it to kick my butt. Might be getting sick too. As for Nestle going to try to go sub 20. Yet I am not sure if my body is up for it.

Rhett- That is what I am hoping. First real tempo run for a long time.

For the heat, you had some speedy miles!!!

Just chalk it up as one of those sucky runs that happen from time to time. Still a great workout man!
