Boy new time change is making it dark when I start my runs.  Might have to try something different for sure.  Just did 4 loops around the park again.  First 2 miles were rather slow 10 min pace.  Got talking running with a new runner.  And drop him at mile 2.25 so picked up the paces after that.  Last mile was a 6:54.

Total time 50:33  Avg pace 8:25

Good job Mark. Yeah, there are always advantages and disadvantages to the time changes. I'm loving the fact that I won't have such a hard time getting out of bed. Hopefully you can figure out what to do so you don't have to run in the dark all the time. That could get kind of depressing, I think.

it takes real dedication to train thru darkness, bad weather, etc. Good job out there. Really nice final mile.

Mark...Cal is right, and you do have the dedication to train in any condition. Just be careful out there.

Mark!!!

You are a riot!! Unbelievable ... 6.01 ... a 6:54!! Oh yeah, it's on like Donkey Kong now!! :)

(Stink ... how in the world am I ever going to run a 6:53??? I am in some serious trouble!!)

From huans32 on Tue, Nov 04, 2008 at 10:52:24

Dale- Yeah there is alot of different changes to try and adjust to with the time change I am noticing. So as long as I get the training in that is all that matters to me.

Cal- Thanks man yea it isnt so much of a pain of running in the dark. Its just harder for others to see you at that time. And I am wondering about hitting black ice. Will see though. Going to check out a few gyms I think.

Teena- It sure makes it easier for me to win for say if I know what you did earlier in the day. So you cant go back and just one up me.:) I am just glad I was able to pull off that sub 7 since at mile 5.25 I noticed I was at a 7:30 pace. It its good motivation.

Nice run Mark! I don't like the time change much either but luckily it's only for a few months.
