Didnt get a chance to go to a gym or 2 tonight.  Weather didnt look to bad so got out and ran in the park again.  Kind of wanted to do some more speed work.  So took a good pace after the first mile.  When I stopped to get a drink at mile 2 some guy passed me.  So I stuck behind him for the next 2 miles.  And then for the 5 mile dusted him.  Slowed down for the last 1.2 for a good cooldown without really slowing to slow to get cold.  Wasn't to bad of run really with the rain/snow/wind.  Splits 8:31, 7:36, 7:16, 7:18, 6:32, 8:09, 7:30 for the last .2

Total time 46.57 Avg pace 7:34

Nice splits Mark. 6:32 VERY impressive. I would be doing the happy dance if I could keep 1 mile under 8:00. I have been working on my speed, so hopefully I will get faster.

Oh yea I know you can do under 8 easy. I remember you telling about it at Ragnar last yr. And I expect to hear alot more this yr.:)

Way to go mark, those are some good, fast miles you got in there.

That's an AWESOME 10K run with a VERY FAST 6:32 in wind/rain/snow condition to boot. Gotta love a good run with "some guy" to "draft and dust". You're a speed demon.

Rain, wind and snow?? I am so spoiled right now. Congrats on a very nice run! Those are some great paces with a gut buster in the middle, sweet!!

Yes Mark...but I was also running on a very steep down hill. If you could send out a memo so that all the roads I train on could be a constant down hill, I might be able to pull sub 7's. Right now, I am happy with 8:30.

6:32!!!!

You have got to be kidding me!!! Alright ... all competitions are officially off!!!

Nice work Mark-o!!! Super Fast!!! I surrender.
