Finally caught up on some much needed sleep today.  Today is speedwork.  Went down by the pool to run on the treadmills there.  Very humid and hot in there.  And struggled with the heat in there.  And decided to bag the speedwork for a farlek workout.  So after 4 miles I headed out and ran along the beaches on the paved walkways a few times.  Hit 20 mins or so.  And went back to check on the wife.  And we decided to just go run around on the roads.  I am figuring around 9-10 miles for the run.  Alot of hills and it was great.  Got to love running in Hawaii.  For sure on Sat I will have to run my long one on the road.  That was just to hot and humid in there.

Tell the hotel manager to crank up the AC in the fitness center! :-)

It's always hot and humid in Hawaii even in the winter. It helps to run in the early morning and in the shade with ocean breeze. Hope you're enjoying the beach and having a great time!

Heck yeah, you have to run outside when you are on vacation and do some exploring no matter what the weather is like outside. I hope you're having a blast in Hawaii.

I love running in Hawaii ... just like Smooth says, early in the morning in a shady area close to the ocean. Oh man ... I am so so so jealous!!!
