Got out for a run again with Peter this morning.  Was windy but warm.  Temp was 59 or so at 5am I guess by 9 it will be in the low 40s.  Crazy weather yet again.  So first 2 miles were with a tail wind.  Mile 3 is uphill.  4 and 5 are headwind.  And last mile was with a downhill and was able to talk him into kicking the pace up.  Felt really good to run fast for the last mile.  He is getting me thinking more and more about doing some swimming and doing a Tri.:)  This run started out fast.  But felt fine with the wind at our backs.  The uphill was fine and into the wind was slower due to the chatter and wind.  I am really thinking I might do another 2-3 tonight after work to do a double.  It is nice working 5 8hr shifts.  So I can get a run in easily right after work.

Mile 1 8:12

Mile 2 8:20

Mile 3 9:08

Mile 4 9:26

Mile 6 6:14

Allie- Yep it will hit you up there in Logan before us down here. I dont really mind running in the snow. Its wind and snow that can make it miserable.

Rhett- Want to get my body thinking fast again. Got a 5k race coming up. And I will just have to hang around that speed for 3 miles.

Kathie- Thanks, it felt really good at the end of the run. Wish I had more time to do a few more this morning.

Dale- :)

Hey, what happened to Kristi's blog?

From Huans32 on Fri, Nov 13, 2009 at 15:00:20 from 138.64.2.76

Dale- Good question. Not sure why she did that. Hmm odd.

From Rhett on Fri, Nov 13, 2009 at 15:09:22 from 74.42.168.210

Maybe it is because I posted something on her blog the other day for the first time and she thinks I'm some crazy stocker. I don't think it is coincidence that she blocked it right after I posted there. LOL

From Huans32 on Fri, Nov 13, 2009 at 16:25:43 from 138.64.2.76

Yeah maybe that is why.:)

Wow nice job on that last mile! My lungs would be burning and I would be gasping for air at the end of that if I could even do it.

From MarcE on Fri, Nov 13, 2009 at 22:11:57 from 206.225.68.25

Glad to see you got some good weather and a friend to run with...so much easier when you have buddies to run with.
