I am needing to get my tire fixed from last night flat.  So was able to get in a recovery long run.  Ran down to the park did 4 laps and back home.  Was a nice morning for a run.  Was able to even make it back in time to get the garbage out before the truck got here. Yippee.  That sure is a mean hill coming home.  Took it nice and easy going down though since it was more recovery run after last night run.

Nice workout. You are keeping up the consistency, which leads to the improvements.

Mark, is it Liberty Park your running around or Sugarhouse Park? Nice recovery run.

From huans32 on Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 11:34:20

I am hitting Liberty park more. As of late. It is a nice park to hit.

Do you ever do 10 sec hill sprints back up that mean hill? I find it is a great way to finish an easy run and studies show that doing 10 sec hill sprints really increase speed.

Mark...

What race are you thinking about running this weekend? Is it in Salt Lake?

Nice recovery run. I can't believe you can run a fast run the night before, then get up so early to get in 9+ miles, (beating the garbage truck home.) You're very dedicated, running anytime, anywhere, anyclime. You inspire me!!!

Rhett-

You know I was thinking about it on this run to do it. But since I ran hard the night before. I didnt think it was wise. But for sure I am planning on doing it on that one. I had to keep telling myself to keep it recovery since I had to hit the hill at the end. :) And it went well.

Dale-

Was thinking about a few smaller ones. Maybe the one up in Logan or something local.

Smooth-

Well I had that flat which means I had some free time to spend. Why not run?? I do that short turn around from Wen to Thur since I cant run at night with my girls. So now tonight I can maybe go on a date or something who knows. :) Besides the tire was replaced for free so I am still in a great mood.

Hey mark great run! I have more than once raced the garbage truck but I usually lose!

From Smooth on Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 20:11:08

Hey Mark, looks like you're not a DATE right now. See what happens when you got a flat tire and EXTRA time? LOL

Thanks for your encouragement! I've done 3 triathlons in the last year...they are fabulous! Good luck with your goals!
