Speedwork tonight and Bball. So went and hit the gym after work. 2 miles warm up with 5 strides. And one mile cool down. 1200 x2 RI 2min, 800 x4 RI 2min.

1200 @ 4:55 x2

800 @ 3:13 x2

800 @ 3:09 x2

Felt really good to do a full speed workout.  And kicked it up on the last 2 intervals of the halfs.

Later after relaxing for 2 hrs went and played hoop for 2.5 hrs again.  Had alot of fun again and hopefully burned alot more calories.

Nice speed work Mark! What is your goal for your 10k this month?

You burn more calories than any guy I know. Those b-ball sessions aren't really cross-training, I think they must benefit you the same as if you were running on the street.

Vihn- I am not to sure since it will really be a test of my fitness. I am hoping to beat my last years time there which shouldnt be to hard since I was recovering from a injury then. But 42-44 is what I am guessing. Not sure if I got a sub 42:30 in me. But will see.:)

Flat- Yeah its hard to say how much or how far you go playing. All I know is that I sure feel I had a hard workout the next day. And feel thinner.(or maybe just dehyrated)
