Went out for a recovery run.  Was running just a bit when I started and then stopped for the rest of the run.  Wasnt to bad of a run just kept it at a good even pace around recovery pace.  Felt best close to the end.  Ankle just was like a 5/10 for the run.

Total time 53:50  Avg pace 8:41

Good to hear you got in a nice recovery run. Are you icing the ankle now? I meant to say "tape" the ankle instead of "wrap" it. That's what some trainers do for athletes who sprained or strained an ankle before sending them out to play football or run.

How's your ankle feeling today Mark? Better, I hope.

5/10 and you ran 6+ miles? Your one tough cookie.

Smooth- THanks for the advice on the wrapping. I do remember doing some wrapping a while back. I might have to try it next run.

Dale- Didnt take any pain killers today so far. And it is just a little sore when I first few steps. But I am keeping it elevated alot at work.

Rhett- I wouldnt think I was toughing it out. It never got any worse then when I started. No spurts of pain just a constant pain. So I think its healing up. Just taking it easy. I much rather have a blister or something LOL.

Mark,

Awesome that you got in a run ... please don't push it though (I'm kicking myself right now for running too much too soon.) BE CAREFUL!!

Hope your ankle is feeling great as I type! :)
