Did week 3 day 2 of the pushup challenge.  Felt really good during them and did 30 for the max set instead of just 25.  Will do day 3 on Sat.

30???!!! 30!!! You can shoot (bball, that is), you can push. You DA ICMSAM for sure!!!

From Teena on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 00:11:47

30!!! Are you for real??

I have not posted my numbers on pushups ... mostly because I am really worried that I will have to repeat certain weeks. At least that is what happened to me when I was doing Mike/Montelepsy's "old school" workout. Plus ... I don't want to have to admit if I change from standard pushups to the other kind (whatever they are called). Hmmm ... maybe I should post the numbers and kinds ... maybe that would be incentive enough to not whimp out. Gotta think about that one!

Nicely done Mark!!

Smooth- Thanks Smooth.:) Your the best cheerleader.

Teena- I post them for me mostly so I can see where I am at. I had to repeat that week over again. And I do feel stronger this week then last week. I hope I can make it through this last day. It was really tough for me. But looking from this week from last I am getting stronger. And Gary wimped out at 18 so that even helped me to go even that much more.:) There is another guy we have been working on to do them too. Was watching so I couldnt stop.

Great work on the pushups man, that explains the gun show in your blog pic!

From Kathie on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 13:07:30

Good Job Mark! 30 wow you are going to get to 100 so fast.

From Huans32 on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 14:36:58

Jeff- LOL man if you could keep your bump after doing those sets we would all be looking like Arnold. To bad it is gone in a few mins dang it.

Kathie- I am hoping to hit it in 3 weeks. We will see if I have to repeat another week inbetween then.

From tarzan on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 15:46:41

Great job on the pushups. They are killing me off!

Teena - the others are called women's or wussy pushups.

From Smooth on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 17:33:37

MarkO, better not repeat another week. Teena is catchin up on ya. She did 24! I need to run with you and Teena. You can be my bodyguard fending off dogs on the loose.

From huans32 on Fri, Feb 13, 2009 at 17:45:03

Tarzan- Nah its a progression. You will do fine just keep working up. And make sure to take a day off of it between each day.

Smooth- I am thinking this week I will be able to do just fine. Teena is catching me though?!?! Hmm I will have to up my game some. Since she is older then me I should get some age bonus.:) And I will be your bodyguard anytime Smooth:)
