Finally hit the gym first time in like 6 months it seems.  At least for the spin it has been about that.  And about 4-5 months since I rode last.  Was a great class alot of sprints and hills.  Took it easy for say since I hadn't done it for a while.  After that had to go try the old pull ups.  Managed did 3 sets of 7.  Did a full body workout for the most part.  All were 3 sets of 10s worked core, back, bi, tri, legs, calves, chest, shoulders, and lats.  Just kind of lightly everything.  4 circuits.  So we will see if I will be able to move tomorrow.:)  Ankle only was felt a bit on the hill climbs on the bike.

Are you stinkin' serious??? 3 sets of 7? Were people just dying watching you?? I have to admit that I will be a little bit glad when this pullup contest is over -- I keep tweaking my back just a little bit, probably because I never let it get fully better.

Glad your ankle seems to be feeling a bit better. Are you in for Saturday? It is so much funner for me to run with someone. Just let me know. (I'm thinking about 11 or 12 miles.)

Wow mark great job... I am sure you did the 3 sets of seven because you were scared I might win with my .3. I have not done my pull-up for the day. I will do it soon and post my progress :)

I bet it felt good to get some weights in. Nice pullups. When is it that we are supposed to do our final pullups for the contest?

Great workout Mark. I hope your ankle gets back to 100% soon.

3 sets of 7! I guess that's better than my 1 set of 3? All that upper body muscle is slowing you down when you run. I recommend a strong anti-training program to get rid of all that useless strength. :)

Glad to hear your ankle is improving.

Teena- Ya I couldnt do more then 7 at one time. I should be able to get back up to 10-12 range in a few weeks. I dont think I will ever get up to Mike. As for the running. I am up for it. I will see what the other 2 have planned. They are training for a race in AZ the same week as Painters. Glad to hear your back already.

Kathie- I was getting nervous about your .3. I know how big of a competitor you are.:) I just haven't done any for a long time.

Rhett- Thanks man I am not sure when we are finally going to have the competition. I just cant wait for the awards ceremony at Painters. Since I think most of us are going to be there.

Dale- Thanks Dale it is feeling better. Its coming back.

Fly- I am telling you bro. It is quickly coming off. I need to lose more weight I just have to decide where I can lose it from. After the pull challenge is over I will really just slim down my upper body.:)

From Smooth on Fri, Dec 26, 2008 at 23:20:00

The roads here are ICEEEE!!! My son and I are gonna do ours may be at JRP, at least there's no traffic to worry about.

Hey Mark,
