Not sure if I will be able to get a run or something in later tonight. Last night I went and visited with my dad. He just had knee surgery so from the sounds of thing. He wont be running more then 5k distances. Or at least that is what his doc says. He will also have surgery on his thumb on Mon. So no SG for him this year for sure.:(

That's a bummer. What happened to his knee and his thumb?

I was going to ask the same question. Sorry to hear he had to have surgeries. Hope he's doing well. He sure is a neat dad.

Dale- He has been having alot of issues with both for a while I guess. The knee cap has been slipping and giving out on him for a while. It wasnt the one that he had done before he started running last year with. As for the thumb. Both are really bad the left if extremely bad. I guess the bone is crushed and worn off. So he is having them both replaced. First one is coming up sooner then later.:(

Smooth- Yeah its sad to see him down and out. His training as for running has been really bad due to this knee of his. But I will see how he will do with biking/cycling and help him there. That is when he is recovered.
