Rest day again.  I was planning on starting a long training schedule for Ogden.  24 weeks.  Well that isnt going to happen.  And looking over my training for the last few months.  It seems I havent been able to hit my weekly mileage as well as I have hoped to.  I am feeling that going for the 50-70 might be to much for me just yet.  And so the 35-50 is more reasonable for now.  And shooting for 5 training days.  The ankle keeps flaring up here and there all the time.  So I am just going to work on getting that healed up and keeping it nice and slow.  While I still have time for my training to really start.  So just icing it and resting it today.  I also have alot going on with moving again this week and hopefully be done before Christmas.

Sounds like a smart thing to do, with moving and Christmas, poor weather and all, it's best to take the time to let that ankle heal up good.

Have you considered using the 18/55 plan? With 5 training days and some core workout, strength training on two to three of the days? You can start that in January. Taking the next two weeks off will not affect your fitness at all. It will only help with getting rid of all the little aches and pain.

Ya that is what I had in mind actually. And then maybe later work up from there. But this nagging ankle I seem to just bother when I push it to much. Wish I was over with it but more patiences is needed with it.

Good thinking Mark!!

How about we all get strong and healthy before we really hit the training hard!! (Then you can trash me on the JRP again)

I hope you enjoyed the rest day.
