Got plenty of sleep before this race.  Had a BBall the night before and felt good this morning.  So decided the push the pace on the race.  It wasnt going to be a PR for a few reasons.  Weather wasnt that great 1-2in of snow.  And then the 2nd half of the race was into the falling snow and a strong head wind.  Ankle was feeling ok for it.  Another good turn out for the race.  And as able to talk to Sasha, Jeff and Mary Ann at the end of the race breifly.  So here are the splits.

1- 8:05 Picked up the pace and lost my GF.

2- 7:43

3- 7:46

4- 8:17

5- 8:17

6- 8:22

6.2- 7:41

Overall time 50:20 Pace 8:04

Had a great time on that challenging run.  Felt good about it.  I tried to push it harder on the 2nd half and just couldnt find a good groove to run in.  With the snow or running on where everyone else was running it was icy.  And the wind.  Still alot of fun.  GF took 1st again with 52:15.   And our friend also came in 3rd for her AG.

Just finished up my push-ups week 3 day 3  was able to do the full set.  So moving on to week 4 now.  Did the max of 28.

Great job! I, for one, will not wish you a happy Valentine's Day, because my manliness won't allow it. But have a good day.
