Well this was my first 15k so it was going to be a PR for say.  Yet after running the 10k 2 weeks ago.  I was sick for 3 days with a cold.  Thought maybe I just pushed it too hard and paid for it.  So when I had my goals for this with my training so far this year.  I was wanting to just go out and enjoy this run and get in some good miles.  So ran a bit slower then what I would of liked to.  But had a great time running with Liz.  We went out a bit fast for her.  And so paid for it in the last few miles.  But she did really well.  I was able to also talk to a few people from the blog.  Sasha, Jeffmc, Mary Ann,  Allie to name a few.  The weather was alot better then 2 weeks ago.  Slight wind and warm temps.  Well here are the splits.

Mile 1 8:55

Mile 2 8:52 GF took off on her own and I stuck with Liz

Mile 3 8:51

Mile 4 9:12 Bit off with the aid station

Mile 5 9:12

Mile 6 9:32

Mile 7 9:47 Our goal was to stay under 10mins for the rest

Mile 8 9:53

Mile 9 9:38

Mile 9.3 8:19

These splits are mostly for her splits.  She really did good and I felt good  afterwards.  My foot felt good on this run and no pain after.  Next race will be in 2 weeks a 10k.  Hopefully I will feel good enough to push it harder.  Was a good series and I really enjoyed it.  And looking forward to doing it again next year.

GOOD JOB getting your 1st (ever) PR on the 15K! :D WAY TO GO staying with Liz. What a NICE running partner you are! Glad your foot behaved. Looks like you're ready to dive right into training for the 10K and Ogden Full. How did your GF do? Did she sweep the series in her AG? Have a great week!
