Leg 22 is a moderate rated 6.5 miles.  Started this one at around 2am and the temp was just right.  Tried to run this around a 7:26 pace.  Being that it was so dark had a harder time with doing it.  So I just found a good pace and went after road kill.  I passed 16 people and had one guy fly by me like I was walking.  Took me 50:09 for this leg.  Had a good sprint to the end up a small hill.  After we were done we took off for a cabin and got there at 5:45ish.  Took a shower hopped into bed.  Tried to sleep up at 7:30 ate some breakfast(scrambled eggs and fresh fruit)  And we were off at 7:45.  Got to the next exchange around 8:30.  We had around 45mins till van 1 would get there.

Leg 34 is the Ragnar rated Very Hard 4mile uphill climb.  My goal for this was to just keep going the whole way.  I was going to shoot for a 10:30 or so pace.  But had issues for the first mile with my Garmin.  So it was discarded at first water break at mile 1.  I stopped for about 10 secs in that first mile area.  The first 2 mile was the steepest part of this 4 mile climb.  I had water and sponge drenching after the first mile at each half mile mark.  I had 3 people pass me and passed 3 or 4.  Hard to remember I just kept going and was able to keep running the rest of the way.  I had a good amount left for a strong kick to the end.  Took 166 place on this leg with like 48 mins and change.  All and all I enjoyed this race and look forward to running it again next yr.  Was able to see Andy and Cal at East canyon exchange point which is alway good to see some other bloggers.  And to see that 2 groups from this blog took 2 of the top 3 spots.
