AM- After going to the clinic last night. I decided to swim again. And since I missed the run last night because of the clinic I will try to get it in after dropping off the girls. So worked on a few things today in the swim. It was a 45 min workout so did 250yds drilling/warm-up. Then went into swimming. Since the race is 400 yds and 50 yds at a shot. I was really wanting to see how I would do w/o my rest after each 25. Man was I out of breath at the end of that. So I dont know if I will be doing the quick touch push-off streamline guides into the other lane bit. Just worked on keep it nice and easy. My goal is going to be to swim it well but taking enough breaks to make it through it and not need a life guard. Oh and to have energy for the bike and run.:) So will try and keep it nice and relaxed the best I can. |
