AM-  Morning workout.  With hopefully speedwork tonight.

Up up down downs 10 x3

Leg lifts 10 x3

Planks 10 x3

Flamingos 1min x3

Wall sits 1min x3

Safety meeting cut things short.

PM-  Went to the CHHS track and tried to do some interval speedwork.  For the first attempt it went ok.  Besides the fact that I haven't quite figured out how to get it to work right.  Will have to mess around with it again later.  So I can do the different intervals at the right paces.  The screen I was looking at wasnt telling me my pace.  So after messing up the first interval that should of been mile repeats turned into 400m repeats instead.  So did 5 of them.  With 2 miles warm up and cooldown with 400 then half a lap rest.

Mile 1 8:10

Mile 2 7:50

Intervals 1:30 1:29 1:30 1:30 1:32 rest for half a lap.

Mile 5 8:59

Mile 6 8:50

I need to be more like you. I could use some good all around workouts. Good luck on the speed tonight.

Have you ever viewed the p90x videos? I sat on my bed this morning and WATCHED them. They had a lot of great ideas that you could do at work!

I might just have to do that. I know like Mike does that program too.

NICE all around workout.

You can have more than one screens showing different data fields. When I did my intervvals. I set my Main 1 screen with 3 data fields, time, distance and lap pace. I set 2nd screen with two data fields, time and pace. I set my intervals to alert at the desired distance repeats, 400m, 800m etc. and time alert for the rest interval. Not sure if all this make sense.

NICE speed work! HS tracks is so spongy and springy to run on. I LOVE IT.

Nice job Mark!! Did Kristi run with you?

From Mark Owens on Wed, Jun 03, 2009 at 08:04:01 from 24.2.68.35

Rhett- Will try:)

Susanna- I will have to read up on it more and try that out. It was frustrating. Along with the rain that started right as I started my speedwork.

Teena- Nope:( She was feeling quite tired and crashed early last night. But she is out running this morning.
