Today I was going to change it up a bit.  And get some downhill running and then at the 6 to 7.61 uphill.  So ran down the Liberty park again and 3 loops around it and back up to my house.  The first 1.6 is down hill and then last is back up the hill.  3 of the parts are steep.  I felt good on this run so felt great about it.  Here are the splits 7:19, 7:22, 7:26, 7:32, 7:25, 7:39.  And then the uphills 9:07 and 9:16 pace for last .61.  Felt really good about this run and tried to have some hills at the end around the 7 mile to be like the veyo hill at SG.  Even though veyo isnt as steep.  It was still a good run.

Total time 59:32 Avg pac 7:49

Those downhills were alot steeper then I like.  So it was needing to try to keep myself slowed down.

Nice job on your run. These type workouts are great for SG training. Probably a good idea not to push too hard on the very steep downhills and risk injury.

Mark -- super run. I'm with you on the downhills ... I need to learn how to run them more comfortably. Downhills are torture on your body. Glad SG doesn't have any of them :)!!!

It sounds like your energy level is coming back!! Good timing!!

I agree with Tom, especially at this late stage of the ballgame. That is a really nice workout though, great job and I'm sure you will benefit from the downhill training.
