Well first run in a few days.  I took most of the weekend off due to the funeral.  On Sat it started at 9ish till 6ish.  So was drained and tired.  Sun just was drained.  So I missed getting a long run in.  So I was happy to get out and run today.  First mile or 2 I tried to keep slow and then picked it up for last bit.  And felt really good.  So feeling good about my plan on Sat for the race.  Of starting slower and then running some MP for a while.  Getting some phantom pains and feel good to getting out running.  I hate the feeling of not running for a couple days.

Glad you were able to get a run in. I hope all went well with the funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I bet tomorrows run will feel even better. After a couple days off I always feel a little rusty but it only takes a day or two to get right back into the groove. Glad to see you out again and I hope all is well with you and your family.
