When my sprained ankle (2 years ago?) was still feeling week, I stuck to smooth flat roads and used some sort of Ace Bandage type brace and/or tape. I hope you get yours healed up so that you can get back to training.

Good luck with the move this weekend, though from my perspective you are moving the wrong direction.

Fly- Thanks for the tips on the bandages. I do see some good pros and cons. Pros is the area is so great for running and such. Just alot farther from work. I will still have to come up and do some more runs with you for sure though.

It's seems everyone is ending the year with some type of pain or injury. I'm glad your ankle is feeling better.

Don't stress on the training for Ogden. You can slowly build-up to 70 miles a week, but just increase miles by a little each week and you will get there. Once you have a good aerobic base then you'll see the fitness prove and be able to increase miles.

Good to hear it's feeling a little better. Have fun with your girls tonight.

Kory- I am not to worried about it anymore. I was at the time I was going to start. Just had to change my plans is all. I am sure I will be fine just need to give it some time.

Smooth- Well as of yet today and its 3pm no ankle problems at all. I am happy with that. I might go for a long run this weekend. With some friends that run a slower pace to keep it nice and easy.

Good planning, be sure it's on smooth even ground, no icy slushy road, hills, rocks or pine cones. Have a great one!

How's that anke feeling today? How much longer do you plan or resting it before you hit the roads again?

From huans32 on Fri, Dec 19, 2008 at 22:53:45

I am planning on testing it Sat morning. Kind of a slower pace yet a longer run. Will see how it goes with the snow and what not.

From Teena on Sun, Dec 21, 2008 at 21:45:01

How you doing Mark? Did you test the ankle yesterday!! (btw ... saw your goals on the forum ... I am so not letting one of them happen -- bring it!!)
