Took the day off of work.  And did some much needed sleeping and cleaning around the house.  Then went out for a awesome first ride of the year.  MissFit was tough to keep up with.  She is a animal on the bike.  And in much better shape for riding then me.  Just another thing to work on.  Bike decided to have a flat after I was done.  So that will be something I will need to fix soon.  Going to try and get 2 days of biking in for XT and run 3 days.  Seems to work best for me.  Was planning on riding in SG.  But riding around WJ area worked just fine too.  The route we took had plent of hills and crazy drivers.

Wow, MissFit is going to whip you into shape! 29 miles for the first ride of the year. Sounds fun! Bummer about the tire.

Wow how long does it take to go 29 miles on a bike? I never ride outside... It is really hard to get hit by a car in spin class.

Marc- Oh yeah she is. She didnt even break a sweat. And had to wait for me a few times on the hills. I finally caught up to her when she pulled over to the side of the road like 4 times LOL.

Kathie- Well from the garmin and I started out with 4 miles getting to her place. Ended up with 1:50 total with stops and such. The computer on my bike would be different though. Since it stops when your not moving. I agree about rides in class are safer. There is a big difference between riding on the road and class though too. I think mostly what I was struggling with is figuring out the gears again.
