Just had to go out and test the legs out and see how they were doing. Wanted to get a better recovery from this one since I dont have a big race coming up soon. So went with the plan of just doing 3 miles or so. Well first mile was nice and slow around 9:10 and felt good really good considering. And right before the 2nd mile noticed I was under 8 mins and backed off a bit hitting 8:01. Next mile was a bit faster to at 8:16. Thought ok I felt good. Really good. And wanted to end it with that. Wanted more of a recovery run but was running more on feel. And any small soreness I felt before the run is now gone. Got to love it. I just felt so alive during this run.
