Got my push-ups in today.  Was tough but got them in. 25 29 25 25 36.  Had to stop and go with 5 sec breaks inbetween on the final 36 3 times.  But got them all in.  Shaking and all.:)

Ran with a new running friend of mine.  We went out on his running loop.  Which was a 5 mile loop to the T.  So was a .25 run to his place and back to mine after it.  Pace was nice and easy.  He is training for his first marathon being at Ogden.  Which I am excited for him and hope to be in shape to run it well also.

Did my push-ups week 4 day 3 column 3.  So was 29, 33, 29, 29, 40.  Was tough on the last set again.  Hit the 29 and struggled with getting the last ones.  Feeling stronger though through out.  Foot is feeling better after that run last night also.  I hope that means I am almost clear of that problem.

Got up and went to the gym this morning.  Did my push-up exhaustion day today.  Was quite happy with the result.  Did 60 to my suprise.  I am feeling very confident going into week 5 now.  2 weeks and only 40 more to go we will see.  Also did core, dips and bi curls.  Followed by 1 hr spin class.  Went well for not spinning for a while.  Ankle felt good.  Hopefully the weather will clear up for tomorrows race.  I can handle the snow I just dont want the wind again.

Well this was my first 15k so it was going to be a PR for say.  Yet after running the 10k 2 weeks ago.  I was sick for 3 days with a cold.  Thought maybe I just pushed it too hard and paid for it.  So when I had my goals for this with my training so far this year.  I was wanting to just go out and enjoy this run and get in some good miles.  So ran a bit slower then what I would of liked to.  But had a great time running with Liz.  We went out a bit fast for her.  And so paid for it in the last few miles.  But she did really well.  I was able to also talk to a few people from the blog.  Sasha, Jeffmc, Mary Ann,  Allie to name a few.  The weather was alot better then 2 weeks ago.  Slight wind and warm temps.  Well here are the splits.

Mile 1 8:55

Mile 2 8:52 GF took off on her own and I stuck with Liz

Mile 3 8:51

Mile 4 9:12 Bit off with the aid station

Mile 5 9:12

Mile 6 9:32

Mile 7 9:47 Our goal was to stay under 10mins for the rest

Mile 8 9:53

Mile 9 9:38

Mile 9.3 8:19

These splits are mostly for her splits.  She really did good and I felt good  afterwards.  My foot felt good on this run and no pain after.  Next race will be in 2 weeks a 10k.  Hopefully I will feel good enough to push it harder.  Was a good series and I really enjoyed it.  And looking forward to doing it again next year.
