AM-  Decided to change things up again on the workout.  Did the Fitcards again.  This time 20 of them took about 30 mins.  Felt really good and I am sure I am going to get sore from this one.:)  Alot of full body, lower body and core work.  Tonight I hope to run 3 easy recovery miles with the wife.

Felt bad about missing running on Sat.  Was planning on doing some miles.  Ended up going to Logan with the wife in the morning.  When we got home the Ironman Championship was on from Hawaii.  And we caught it from the bike ride on.  So 7.5 hrs later they finished up and it was really awesome to watch these athletes.  Finish of the race with a full marathon.  One day, one day....  Then finished up watching BYU beat UNLV.  What a long day.:)

Now I feel ready to start working out again.  Was good to take all of last week off.  Only ran 4 miles which was good.

PM-  Had a great recovery run with the wife.  Worked on form and staying relaxed.  Felt great after the run.

Bit windy out there today.  And wanted to get in a run outside before the storm hit.  Been reading a new book the wife gave me called Chi-running.  So practiced some of the stuff on the run.  So kept focusing on my posture, breathing, relaxing and picking up my feet.  And it turned out really good.  Felt really good running the first 1.5 into the wind and half uphill.  Kept cycling through those 4 things.  And learned a lot on the run.  Felt really relaxed and was suprised to hit some fast miles.  Yet it still felt like a really good recovery run.  And on the last 1.5 miles felt really good running into the wind again.  Seems like a really good book and looking forward to using some of the stuff in the next run.

Went to the club house to workout on the elliptical there.  It was broken and very shaky.  So lasted about 30 secs before I decided that wasnt a good idea.  Changed over to the stationary bike.  It would not go longer then 5 min before you had to start it over again.  So after the 2nd time of that.  Checked out the stair stepper.  Oh boy, what a bunch of junk.  So not much of a workout.  Might have to use that Gold's Gym membership we won back at the Ragnar race.

Just another recovery run.  Focusing on posture and staying relaxed.  Seemed a bit tougher this run then the one on Tues.  But still a good run.  Temps were perfect right at 62.  Decided not to run CIM.  Next marathon will be Ogden.:)

Headed down to the JRP.  Was nice and cool morning.  Was going to meet up with Lizzer.  But she didn't show.  She was going to run  with my wife.  But she wasn't feeling well so it was just me.  And Lizzer didn't make it either.  So after she didn't show up either.  Headed South to start it off.  Worked on picking up my feet, posture and breathing again.  Wasn't to worried about the pace till mile 11 when I decided to add some speed into it.  Was a good long run.
